Family Lawyer, mediator and Collaborative Professional
Embrun, Ontario, Canada

Member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada since September 2012, I completed the National Program at the University of Ottawa.

I served as a research assistant in children's rights (2009), and as a research assistant in intellectual property (2011). I also gained field experience with the University's National Clinic and while volunteering for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association as well as the Elizabeth Fry Society. Following my studies, I articled at the House of Commons' Office of the Law Clerk and Parliamentary counsel where I researched complex files and drafted legislation.

I always knew I wanted to become a lawyer; I have always been motivated by believing that even the smallest things can make a world of difference in someone's life.

Once I started my studies I quickly realized that although the media reflected many world problems, many other problems affect people's everyday life and also need attention. I have always believed that education is the first step in resolving conflict.

I focus my practice in giving my clients the tools and information to allow them to make informed decisions, and guide them through the process and steps along the way.

Outside of work, I maintain a balanced and active lifestyle and love to travel. I am involved in my community and volunteer for different organizations including Citizen Advocacy. I also teach to paralegals and legal assistants at La Cite collegiate.

I offer my services in both official languages.
